Average penis size and how to measure it
Average penis size and how to measure it
The obsession over penis overwhelming at the very least. Men worry about the size of their penis, they see other men in videos with bigger penises than theirs, and they worry and get depressed over it. Whether a man wants to publicly admit it or not, he consciously or unconsciously thinks his penis is one of the most important things in his life.
Size does matter. As a young man he realizes that his penis is bigger or smaller than others and he becomes sensitive to that fact. There are many articles declaring how penis size doesn’t matter in hopes of reassuring these men that their penises aren’t too small. If these men are reading and believing their penises aren’t too small and don’t believe their penises are too small, why are there so many articles?
The penis is one of the most important organs in a man’s body. When men think about their penises and how their penis performs for them, and then begin doing research on the subject, they come to the conclusion that their penises may not be adequate or maybe they are having weak erections or impotence. There are many causes for this such as age, stress, and health. Premature ejaculation, penis curvature, a damage-causing disease called Peyronie’s disease (which is caused by having sex while you have a weak erection), and build up in the prostate (which can turn cancerous if not careful), or many other urinary issues can cause great problems.
Now let’s discuss penis length. Experts say that the average length of a non-erect penis is about three to four inches from head to base of the shaft. There are many myths circulating that men who have big feet will have bigger penises, or men who are tall will have big penises, or men of different races will have bigger penises. This is not factual.
One clinical trial by Masters and Johnson reported to have measured the penile lengths of over three hundred men and found that the largest penis was 5.5 inches when soft and belonged to a man who five feet seven inches and the smallest penis belonged to a man that was five feet eleven inches and was only two and one quarter inches when soft. The majority of penises measure anywhere from six to seven inches when erect. The average measurement was six and a half inches in length when hard.
You cannot judge the true size of a man’s penis when it’s soft. Here are some ways that you can properly measure your penis. The first thing you must do is to get a full erection. Then you need to have a ruler available. From this point, you can lay the ruler along the top of your penis and then press the end of the ruler against your body where your pubic hair is. Then you will need to hold onto the penis against the ruler and straighten it out as much as you can so that you can go with any curvature of the penis that you might have. Try to hold your penis so that it’s straight ahead of your body. Now you will be able to read the proper measurement at the very end of your penis on the ruler.
